Bahasa ibu adalah bahasa yang pertama kali di pelajari dan diperoleh anak ketika sudah mampu berbicara. Kepandaian dalam bahasa asli sangat penting untuk proses belajar berikutnya, karena bahasa ibu dianggap sebagai dasar cara berpikir. Kepandaian yang kurang dari bahasa pertama seringkali membuat proses belajar bahasa lain menjadi sulit. Oleh karena itu bahasa ibu memiliki peranan penting dalam hal ini. Dalam konteks Indonesia, bahasa ibu selalu mengarah pada bahasa daerah tertentu atau disebut bahasa lokal. Hal ini disebabkan oleh keberagaman suku dan wilayah yang memiliki bahasa yang berbeda-beda. Ini tentu tidak salah. Tapi lain hal nya dengan masyarakat di perkotaan yang penggunaan bahasa indonesia telah menjadi bahasa sehari hari, bahkan telah menjadi bahasa ibu bagi anak anak jaman sekarang. Ada beberapa faktor yang menyebabkan para orang tua menjadikan bahasa indonesia sebagai bahasa ibu, atau bahasa pertama yang diajarkan pada anaknya, diantaranya: karena lingkungan keluarga, lingkungan masyarakat dan banyaknya warga pendatang, dan ada sebagian orang tua yang beralasan menggunakan bahasa indonesia sebagai bekal pendidikan. Nah dari sini muncul  kehawatiran, jika para orang tua mengajarkan bahasa indonesia sebagai bahasa ibu, maka lambat laun bahasa bahasa daerah akan hilang karena tidak ada generasi baru yang memakai bahasa daerah lagi.

Di era globalisasi ini perkembangan bahasa terjadi begitu cepat, banyak sekali bahasa bahasa baru yang muncul di kalangan generasi muda atau remaja saat ini, yang merupakan serapan dari bahasa asing, dan media seperti televisi, majalah, internet dan jejaring sosial menjadi penyebab utama akan terjadinya hal ini, mungkin hal ini bisa dibilang suatu kreativitas dari seseorang atau sekelompok orang, tapi kreativitass ini secara tak sadar membunuh bahasanya sendiri. Mereka yang gemar mengutip dan menuturkan bahasa-bahasa Korea misalnya, disadari atau tidak hal ini membuat eksistensi bahasa indonesia dan bahasa daerah semakin menurun, dan Tanpa disadari mereka sedang membunuh jati dirinya sendiri.

Linguistic Imperialism

        Imperialism sendiri atau imperialisme dalam bahasa indonesia berarti suatu sistem penjajahan langsung dari suatu negara terhadap negara lain, yang bertujuan untuk kepentingan negara tersebut, sedangkan yang di maksud imperialisme linguistik adalah sebuah bahasa yang mendominan. linguistik imperialisme terjadi ketika sebuah populasi bahasa yang besar atau dominan atau transfer bahasa kepada orang lain di daerah yang sama atau tetangga.

Kisah imperialisme linguistik telah terjadi sepanjang sejarah dunia . Tidak semua kasus ini telah berhasil . Setelah 1066, Franco - Normandia berusaha untuk membuat Perancis, atau lebih tepatnya dialek Norman Perancis , bahasa nasional . Setelah 300 tahun , mereka akhirnya menyerah mencoba dan belajar bahasa Inggris.

Ada banyak sekali penyebab penyeb terjadinya imperialisme linguistik diantaranya adalah imigrasi, penaklukan, perdagangan, dan budaya keunggulan . Penyebaran agama yang melampaui budaya dan bahasa lokal juga dapat menyebabkan imperialisme linguistik . Perubahan tersebut dalam bahasa dapat dipaksa atau dapat terjadi melalui perubahan alam . dan Imigrasi merupakan penyebab besar imperialisme linguistik . Hal ini paling sering dilihat sebagai tindakan yang menyerang atau migrasi orang membuat orang lain belajar bahasa mereka.

Grammar translation method (GTM)

Grammar translation method is one of methods that used by many language teacher, at the first, grammar translation method used in the teaching classical language Latin and Greek, so that GTM also called Classical method. Grammar translation method is a result from combination two method, grammar method and translation method.

 At the grammar method student will learn and memorize about grammar rules, for example student are given tenses formula, and they will learn about simple present tense, past tense, and they must be able to apply the rule in the sentences, and the student also learn and memorize some vocabulary.

And the translation method contain activities translate reading passage, student are given  reading passage, and the teacher asks student to read few line from the passage and then the teacher asks the students to translate into their native language. Student can ask the teacher if they do not know the meaning of some word. And the student are given some question from the passage. And the teacher ask student to write their answer to the comprehension question which appear at the end of the excerpt. After some minutes the teacher ask student to stop and check their work, one by one each student reads a question and reads their answer. If it is correct the teacher instruct another student to reads the next question, if the answer incorrect the teacher select another student to supply the correct answer. Or the teacher herself give the right answer. And in this method student will learn some word from the passage, and they have to find out the meaning from each word in their native language, and the student are instructed to find out the opposite of these word.

Linguistic imperialism

Seperti yang telah kita ketahui bahwa bahasa inggris telah menjadi bahasa international, bahasa yang digunakan untuk komunikasi antar negara dalalam segala hal, seperti ekonomi, bisnis, atau hal hal lainnya, sebuah artikel dari Robert yang berjudul Linguistic imperialism alive and kicking. Kebijakan AS dan Inggris untuk mempromosikan keahlian dalam mengajar bahasa Inggris di seluruh dunia telah merusak peluang multilingualisme dan pendidikan. Imperialism atau imperialisme dalam bahasa indonesia berarti suatu sistem penjajahan langsung dari suatu negara terhadap negara lain, yang bertujuan untuk kepentingan negara tersebut. Kenapa dikatakan merusak, itu mungkin karena upaya untuk memperkuat pembelajaran bahasa Inggris. Mereka menyarankan kuat bahwa Tesol / ELT adalah bagian dari masalah daripada solusi. Ada semakin banyak bukti bahwa apa yang ditawarkan mungkin sebenarnya menyebabkan kegagalan pendidikan.  Ada bukti ilmiah, misalnya dari Spanyol, bahwa bahasa Inggris utama bukanlah kisah sukses sejati: justru sebaliknya.

            Museum and art gallery is an institution or place that cares for converving a collection of artifacts and other object of scientitic, artistic, cultural, or historical. Importance and make them available for public viewing through exhibits may be permanent. art galleries are sometimes used to host other artistic activities, such as performance art, music concerts, or poetry readings. Many people argue about this isue, Should museums and art galleries be free of charge for the general public, or should a charge, even a voluntary charge, be levied for admittance.

            Some people said that, a museum or art gallery should be free of charge for general public some people might argue that free entrance to museums and art galleries provide many advantages including education, economy, and tourism. If everyone can gets in museums for free, many people are willing to learn culture and history from other countries, so they tend to improve their knowledge. , free entrance is attractive advertisement to draw many tourists come to travel in the country. For that reason, the economy and tourism are going up. But other people said that museum should be charge for everybody in many reasons.  Although many museums in developed countries have financial support from the government but most of them still need donation, Museum need money for cost of maintenance, and for of employee.

                I agree that museum or art gallery should be free of charge for general public,  if museum free for general public, it will give many advantages, for example it helps student, it makes  easy for student to known or to learn about historical or cultural. I know that the museum need costs for maintenance and salaries, then I think the solution is  the government should be giving out sufficient funds for a museum.

Technology is a result  of age development, a plane, motorcycle and mobil phone are a part of technology, with a plane or motorcycle we can go anywhere, we can go to the other city or country, we can move fast to other place, and with mobile phone we can make a call, we can make a conversation with a people in other place. without technology our life will be difficult, for example in the past a people spend time for year s to go to mecca for hajj but now only need a month to go there, but however many people argue about this issue, because Technology has big impact also for us and for this word. Some people said that technology make the world a better place to live, technology make our life easily, Internet is one of technology, internet has many benefits, internet can be a machine of money, we can build an online business, and we can find anything in the internet. Before the Internet era, we should go to the library to look for a book or some material, but now we thanks to the Internet, we just need type the key word, which will take no longer than a minute. And we can see a lot of appliances and electronic devices in our home and our  environment, it is an evidence that we need technology, it is an evidence that technology is important in our life. without technology our life will be difficult, imagine how difficult life in the past there is no  car, there is no mobile phone for make a call, and there is no lamp for lighting the room, it make difficult life. However technology has a big impact for us and for this world, for example the global warming, and radiation of mobile phone is dangerous, and in the internet many sites of pornography that can make a teenager became a bad person, free sex is a result or example of disadvantages of internet. However technology has a negative and positive effect, but, I truly believe that its advantages are way more significant than its disadvantages. So I agree that technology has made the world a better place to life, technology make our life more easy, I can not imagine my life without technology. I think there is no problem to use technology, if we use technology in a right way. For example internet has many negative effect like pornography, but, if we use internet as well as we can internet will be something very useful.	Conclussion
